DISASSEMBLY
1. If not already removed, remove four cap-
screws (1), lockwashers (2), and flat washers (3)
that secure guard (4). Remove guard (4).
2. Secure pulley (8) to prevent from turning, and re-
move flat head screw (5), countersunk lock-
washer (6) and retaining washer (7).
3. Pull pulley (8) from end of shaft (49) and remove
key (9).
4. Remove twelve flat head screws (10), counter-
sunk lockwashers (11), two bearing covers (12)
and bearing cover (13).
5. Remove and discard seal ring (14) from bearing
cover (13).

Remove and discard three gaskets (15).
Carefully lift out shims (16, 17, and 18) from ends
of adjustable shaft (42) and fixed shaft (49).
Remove none socket head capscrews (19) and
lockwashers (20) that secure guard (21) and
cove: (22) Remove guard (21).
Using a soft plastic hammer, gently tap around
edge of coder (22) to loosen cover from housing
(50) Carefully remove cover (22) from housing
(50) and the shaft assemblies inside.
Remove and discard gasket (23).
Remove spring pins (24) only if replacement is
necessary.
