Servicing of the fuel tank requires the use of
proper type and grade of fuel for the expected

Fuel Oil Diesel
(PER VV-F-800 &
MILF-46162)
Jet Fuel
(Per MIL-T-83133)
Regular Grade DF2
Winter Grade DF1

WARNING
Do not smoke or use an open flame in
the vicinity when filling fuel tank. Fire
and or explosion may result in damage
to compactor and injury to personnel.
2. Remove filter cap (2).

Check fuel level. If low replenish. Fill tank (1) to
full mark (bottom ring in filter neck).
4.
lnspect tank filler cap (2) for presence of gasket
in cap Ensure that vent hole in cap is not
blocked. Clear blockage with clean rag.
5.
Check filter neck on tank (1) and remove any de-
bris.
6.
Install filter cap, (2), turning clockwise until audible
click is heard.
