SCREED CROWN ADJUSTMENT CHAIN
A
Chain is accessible with the steps positioned to
the rear per TM 5-3895-373-10.
WARNING
Cleaning solvent, P-D-680, Type ill, is
TOXIC and flammable.
Wear
protective goggles and gloves. Use
only in a well ventilated area. Avoid
contact with skin, eyes, and clothes,
and do not breathe vapors. Keep
away from heat or flame.
Never
smoke when using solvent; the
flashpoint for Type III cleaning
solvent is 200F (93,3C). Failure to
do so may result in injury or death to
personnel.

Clean old grease from crown control adjustment
chain (1) with cleaning solvent and a clean cloth.

Lubricate crown control adjustment chain with
GAA using a brush.
