Remove, clean or replace fuel lines (Para. 4-29).
Step 2. Check for clogged fuel filter.
Replace the fuel filter with new filter (Para. 4-28).
Step 3. Check for incorrect valve clearance as indicated by poor compression.
Adjust valve clearance (Para. 4-34).
Step 4. Check for starting load which is too high, due to clutch not disengaging.
Repair, replace clutch assembly (Para. 4-26).
