Unit maintenance service functions for the engine
consist of changing oil and changing of the oil fil-
ter
2.
Change engine oil and engine oil filter after Initial
20 hours operation and every 100 hours opera-
tion as follows:
a.
Place a drain pan next to the compactor un-
der the engine drain plug.
b.
Remove oil drain plug (1), and drain off the
engine oil. Dispose of used engine oil in ac-
cordance with local policy.
c.
Install the oil drain plug (1). Wipe spilled oil
from around the drain plug and drain trough
of compactor
d. Wipe around the oil fill plug (2)
e.
Remove the oil fill plug (2) with a 13 mm
open end wrench.
f.
Use a rag to grasp the oil filter (4) and un-
thread from fitting on front side of engine.
Turn oil filter counterclockwise to remove.
