Allow engine to cool before removal of
the muffler. Severe burns may result if
muffler is handled while still hot.

Remove two hex nuts (5), flat washers (6) and
muffler shield (3).
Remove muffler (7) and first gasket (8), and dis-
card the gasket.
Remove support (4) and second and third gas-
kets (8). Discard gaskets.
