Carbon monoxide occurs in the ex-

concentrated under conditions of inade-
quate ventilation. Observe the following
safety precautions whenever the engine
is running:
Operate engine in a ventilated area
only.
Do not idle the engine for long peri-
ods without maintaining adequate
ventilation.
Be alert at all times for exhaust
odors and exposure symptoms.
Be aware: the field protective mask
for chemical biological radiological
(CBR) protection will not protect you
from carbon monoxide poisoning.
