Visually inspect governor (8) for missing or bro-
ken springs (3 and 4) Replace spring set if any
spring is broken or missing.
P-D-680, Type III, is moderately toxic to
the skin. eyes and respiratory tract:
avoid prolonged exposure. Skin and
eye protection is requited. Good ventila-
tion is required. Do not use near open
flame or excessive heat. Flash point is
200°F (93.3°C).

Inspect governor pin (1) for scoring or bent condi-
tion. Replace a damaged pin.
1. Clean the governor assembly and pin in dry
cleaning solvent and dry thoroughly.
